Dear George, it took the passing of you for the world to take notice of something that has been going on for over 400 years. As a mother of 4 sons, I pray that in your passing that change does come. Sleep well gentle giant and take your rest from the troubles of this old world. Keep a watch on all of us because we need as much help as we can get. You have sparked something all around the world that will never be forgotten and will go down in history. No more worries for you and now you can breath the sweet aroma of being in the presence of God.
Lord, take care of all those who are connected to this young man. I know that it is going to take some time for them all but give them peace while they are trying to understand. Catch each tear and hold them close to Your Heart for safe keeping of their prayers. I know that an angel can't fly with one wing. So You decide to take your son home and give him two. Rest on Gentle Giant and from this mother right here, I love you. Thank you so much for being the person that you were. Because the celebration of your life has showed us all who you were and how much you were loved by so many. Rest On!
