Vontrae “Money Green” Quantez Tucker-Shead, 31, of Chicago, IL was called to the arms of the Lord on July 21, 2023. He was born April 25, 1992 to Angelia Tucker in Waukegan, IL and later adopted by his great aunt, Elaine West-Shead.

Vontrae attended and graduated from Libertyville High School in 2010, Libertyville, IL. As a kid he was a lover of soccer and football but later found his passion in music. Vontrae began pursuing his love for music at a very early age and later became known as “Money Green” releasing several singles. He was also a member of Jesus Name Apostolic Church where he was baptized and received Christ as his Savior.

He is survived by his two mothers; Elaine West-Shead (Waukegan, IL) & Angelia Tucker (Zion, IL); his 7 siblings, Letia Tucker-Shead (Davenport, FL), Jeremiah Tucker-Shead (Waukegan, IL), Julaine Smith (Waukegan, IL), Diamond Patrick (North Chicago, IL), Desiree Patrick (North Chicago, IL), Deliah Smith (adopted sister, Waukegan, IL) and Edward Smith (adopted brother, Kenosha, WI), grandparents; Mark and Hiwatha Tiernan (Beach Park, IL); grandfather, William Tucker (Kenosha, WI); aunts, Monique (Kevin) Spiegelhoff (Caledonia, WI), Gracie Tucker (Waukegan, IL); uncles, William (Meleecia) Tucker (Jacksonville, FL) and Jimmie Cole (Beach Park,
IL); nine nieces, August Tee, Imani Tee and Sahara Tucker; London Holder, Skylar Belle, Denim & Dior Patrick, Damiah Horn, Janyla Smith; nephews, Kayren Belle and Jerome Smith; five great aunts, one great uncle, a host of cousins and friends.

Vontrae is preceded in death by his sister Lashon Tucker Shead, adopted brother, Joshua Smith; aunt Hilda Shead, uncle Darrell Shead and cousin, Quincy Pryor.
