Kris was our TSU “squad” leader. As we navigated through Texas Southern University bachelor’s degree programs, Kris included me, a non-trad, older adult student in his squad. After that the camaraderie of the group overtook the hall area next to the Dean’s office. I’ve been blessed with a long friendship with this great man as we both coached speech and debate and stayed connected through social media. Kris connects. Even in his passing, he has reconnected me with our “squad” again. Grateful 😇

I hope you know how much you were loved and how much you've enriched the lives of everyone you met. I still laugh at the jokes we shared and smile at the fun times we had with the squad. Thank you for all your kindness and for checking on me. You really were an angel on earth and one heck of a comedian. You will be missed dearly.

I was a student for him at Clifton for 3 years. He was by far one of the best if not the best teacher I actually had. Mr walker taught me so many things including how to control my emotions and that I can go to him if I needed anything. I wish things are different I wish he was still here with us but we have to leave it up to God. I wish his family and friends the best and hope to see him again some day. He was a gift from God and an amazing person. Rest well Mr walker
