Celebrating The Life Of
J.C. Felder, Jr.

On January 12, 1961 in Houston, Texas, a baby boy was born to J.C. Felder, Sr. and Leora Edwards Felder.  He was raised in the Piney Point Community and formerly educated in the Houston Independent School District. 

J.C. attended Piney Point Elementary, Sharpstown Junior High and Robert E. Lee High School.  He furthered his education by attending Texas A&M in Corpus Christi.

At an early age, J.C. was baptized.  He attended Greater Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.

J.C. had a passion for hunting, fishing, attending rodeos as a rider and spectator, gardening and trail riding.  He participated in rodeos as a bareback Bronco rider.

After high school, he worked in the seafood industry for 30 years.  For many years, he was the Operations Manager for Prime Sales and Trading.

On September 20, 2020, J.C. Felder, Jr. entered into eternal rest.  He was preceded in transition by his parents, two sisters (Janet “Button” Felder, Linda Arbuckle), one brother (Lucius Tyler) and one grandson (DeVante’ Bell).

Left to honor his life and cherish his memory are his wife and companion, Emma Simon; children, Ashely Bell, Jasen Bell, Tamara Cook (Cedric); grandchildren, DeAndre’ Bell, Kameryn Bell, Alexandria Wiles and Cutter Cook; siblings, Lucille Lewis and Jessie Hudson (John), Reginald Caldwell, James Felder, George Felder, Ira Tennon,  Jean Davis; mother-in-law, Odelia Simon; sisters-in-law, Brenda Simon, Julia Simon, Rose Brooks (Grant); brothers-in-law, Joseph Simon, Jr. (Sonja), David Simon, Jeffery Simon; special friends, Kerry Johnson, Cedric Cook, Billy Forbes, Mr. Woodrow, Jesse Williams, Tyrone Williams, Rusty Woodard, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
